Mobile information and text messages
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The mobile number a business owner gives us in order to receive a sign-in code, and their consent to receive it, are not sold, rented or shared with anyone. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
- Message frequency
- One message per sign-in request. No recurring messages, and no marketing messages ever. Notes from Dana about a business go only to that business's own owner: one short note each morning, and a summary after a call she took.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Stopping and getting help
- Reply STOP to stop messages, or HELP for help. You can also write to hello@aivi.work.

What we hold
For a business that uses AIVI: what its owner taught Dana about the business, the phone number Dana answers on, and the owner's own contact number. For calls Dana takes: a record of the conversation and what the caller needed, so the business can be told about it and so Dana can do better next time.
Why
To answer that business's calls and report back to its owner. Nothing else.
Your calendar, if you connect one
Connecting your Google Calendar is optional. You do it yourself from your own office page, and you can undo it there whenever you like. Nothing happens automatically, and no calendar of yours is touched unless you connect one.
What Dana can do once you connect it
- Check whether a time is available or unavailable.
- Make her own appointment-request calendar inside your Google account.
- Put appointment requests on that calendar of hers.
- Mark every one of those requests not confirmed.
- Show them as free time, so they never block your day.
- Be disconnected, whenever you decide.
What Dana cannot do, ever
- Read the title of anything already in your calendar.
- Read the notes, the description, the guests, the place or the meeting link of anything already in your calendar.
- Change or delete anything you already had.
- Treat an appointment request as a confirmed booking.
- Tell a caller they are booked.
When Dana checks whether you are free, Google answers with times only — a start and an end. The private parts of your calendar are not hidden from us by a promise; they are never sent to us in the first place. And the calendar she writes to is one she made herself, so what she can write to is the only thing she can write to.
An appointment request says who rang, what they asked for, and when they asked for. Nothing is booked until you confirm it yourself.
We keep one thing from Google: a private code that holds the connection open, so Dana does not have to ask you again every morning. It belongs to your business alone, it is never shown on any screen, and it is never put into any message or report.
Disconnecting is one click in your office. We tell Google to cancel the arrangement first and delete that code afterwards, in that order. You can also remove it yourself at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
To help Dana speak naturally and summarise availability or appointment requests, AIVI may send limited appointment-request details and availability windows to the AI service providers that power Dana. We do not send private event titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, or notes from your existing calendars. Our AI service providers process this data under their commercial API terms. As of this policy date, our current API providers state that commercial/API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default unless the customer chooses to allow it.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use one business's customer calls to market anything to anybody. We do not build profiles of callers and we do not sell call records.
Callers are told
A caller who reaches Dana is told what she is if they ask — she never claims to be a person. Calls may be recorded or transcribed so that the business gets an accurate message.
Getting it back, or getting rid of it
A business can ask for everything we hold about it and receive all of it, and can ask us to delete it, in which case we delete it — not a flag on a row we keep. Write to hello@aivi.work.
